At our Hannaway location we have a swimming pool that has been constructed and
maintained in accordance with the strictest State and County safety standards and
requirements regarding recreational pool facilities for use by children. At all times that the
pool is opened, a certified lifeguard is at the pool. The pool is open during summer
months and is closed after public school opens each fall.
Children at both locations have the opportunity to use the pool throughout summer
months, transportation is provided.
Field trips are an important part of our summer camp program. Children will be allowed
to go on a field trip if they are enrolled during the summer months and will be at least
five years old by September 1 of the current year. Parents are welcome to join us and
may be asked to help supervise some of the children.
As we get closer to June we will post the list of field trips. In the past we have gone to
locations such as the MOSI, Dinosaur World, Lettuce Lake, Hillsborough State Park,
Chuck E Cheese, and Amtrak.
