I’ve been teaching at Mary Go Round since April 2000. I was born and raised in
Hillsborough County. I have a twenty five year old son, twenty year old daughter, and
a thirteen year old daughter. My youngest daughter graduated from Mary Go Round in
2001. I am expecting my first grandson in January 2009.
My favorite thing about Mary Go Round is the children. I enjoy watching the children
grow and learn. I believe teaching is the most rewarding job.

I have taught at Mary Go Round for a total of 12 years. I have worked with children
from 3 and up. I love kids from all ages and abilities. I grew up in Riverview graduating
from East Bay High School. I attended Hillsborough Community College and received
my associates of Arts from them focusing on Education.
The kids are my favorite part of Mary Go Round. Watching them grow and learn new
things makes my day. Running a close second is the staff. We have an amazing, fun
filled, dedicated staff of teachers.

Birmingham, Alabama. In 1999, I moved to Florida with my husband. We have two
boys.
My favorite thing about Mary Go Round is the playground I love how the children have
many choices for gross motor activities. We play everyday and we teach the children
different games. They learn cooperation and communication skills while playing. They
also learn to be active which keeps them healthy.

I have been working at Mary Go Round for 6 years and teaching VPK for 4 ½ years. I
am 29 years old; unmarried; no child of my own yet; I was born in St. Ignace,
Michigan – but have resided in Riverview/Brandon for the past 26 years.
My favorite thing about Mary Go Round is seeing the children grow and change over
time. It is very fulfilling to see the development and growth of each child during their
time here. Also, the smile and stories I get are pretty good too.

After my son graduated pre-k from Mary Go Round I began teaching preschool
children. In June 2007 I received my Child Development Associates from NOVA
Southern University, and am going to continue my education in Early Childhood. I
have been married to Sherman for 15 years. We have two children, Sara (12) and
Aaron (8).
My favorite thing about Mary Go Round is that I will probably live a long life from all
the smiles and hugs I get everyday from the children.

best of both worlds. My daughters Rebekah and Sarah attended Mary Go Round
through their elementary years. Over the years I have taught children from ages two
through school age. At the present time I enjoy being the director at Mary Go Round,
we have wonderful staff, great parents, and the children are the best. The owners and
their family are such wonderful people who have helped many in our community in the
giving children "Time to be a Child".

program, every year for over 30 years, Santa Claus, and many more....

Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from The University of Florida. I
returned to Riverview and began to work for/with my parents at Mary Go Round Child
Care Center Inc. I am a self proclaimed Entrepreneur and have been known to take
on a large scope of jobs.
My favorite thing about Mary Go Round is being able to play at work while having a
